The
RPCA folks came on a pretty dark and rainy day, but everyone had a
great time. The all day charter was
exciting as it reminded us of the old days when we used to
operate 3
trains on a regular basis. In Sunol, we had three
trains meeting -
the M200 running out east to Hearst, the normal Sunday train and our
train - one busy railroad station! We had a great time
flagging and
rearranging the schedule to make sure we could
operate safely as an
extra under the new operating rules.
The last two photos are the group waiting for the Capital to
arrive at Niles for their trip back to Oakland and our train,
with the YV #330 at the rear and the Capital sitting in Niles.
